Nickles Park Resort - Panglao

So disappointed with my stay, even though the place has a pool, no one bothered to clean it, and the aircon barely worked. It was just shocking how little attention was paid to guest comfort. A complimentary drink would've been nice, but I guess that's just too luxurious to expect here? I couldn't give a glowing review about my experience.

The hotel was a cozy base for enjoying a calm area, near Philippines and Panglao beach and other public beaches. The staff were caring and very friendly day and night.

Absolutely nothing.

the location was secure, for example, dumaluan beach was within a close distance from the hotel. stayed in brand-new a double room with a/c and garden view, as for instance.

The spacious apartment offered a nice layout for a solo traveler. The reasonable price point stood out given the size of the room.

The TV didn't seem to work, serving more as a decoration than a functional device. Despite being labeled as a superior apartment, it lacked a proper balcony, just a common walk-through space where passersby could peer in. Reaching a decent beach required a 15-30 minute walk, and the surrounding area had minimal options for shops or dining, leaving guests to rely on food delivery. Arriving late meant navigating a dark environment for provisions-if you can find them.

stayed here for 3 nights and loved our choice. double room with mini kitchen was ready when we arrived. an electric kettle, a fridge, and a toaster were provided.

Beds were not great in this place.

I was given a beautifully maintained room with with the shower, A/C plus the bedroom. The staff were caring, peaceful and secure location in a quiet area.

Calling this place a resort feels misleading!!! The restaurant merely delivers food from elsewhere, and the supposed bar offering was just a water tank!!! The road leading here is bumpy and uninviting, needing some serious attention!!!

The pool was cloudy, but I really loved the garden view outside my room.

Had such a blast here! The owners are super chill and really engaging. Kids had a great time splashing in the pool. The breakfast options were yummy, I loved the in-room dining. Only thing is, the road to the resort could use some fixes. But honestly, it's part of the charm!

The access road to the hotel was quite bumpy, which detracted from the arrival experience. The pool, although lovely, could use more frequent cleaning to keep it inviting. Despite these issues, the staff were consistently friendly.

Spent 6 nights in a standard family room and enjoyed the relaxing garden area and sun terrace. The massage options were fantastic. Just a heads up, the access road can be a bit bumpy, so be prepared for that 😊

The friendly staff, and the spacious room was a pleasant surprise. It exceeded my expectations for a relaxing getaway.

Free Wi-Fi and cool air conditioning made our stay enjoyable, but check-in was slow.
